Concompanyation

The process by which a market participant notifies its customers of the details of a trade and allows the customer to positively afcompany or question the trade. When direct market participants execute trades on behalf of indirect market participants, trade concompanyation often occurs on two separate tracks: verification (generally termed concompanyation) of the terms of the trade between direct participants and verification (sometimes termed afcompanyation) of the intended terms between each direct participant and the indirect participant for whom the direct participant is acting.
