Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR).

Consultative body of seventeen European securities supervisory authorities, from the countries of the European Union, Norway and Iceland. It has the purpose of drawing up common standards, act as an advisory body to the European Commission and in general, as a network for securities regulators. CESR operates as an independent network for the implementation of European directives and regulations. It consults with market participants.
