Central Bank

The principal monetary authority in a country responsible for a countries monetary policy, whose tasks include issuing currency, utilising monetary policy instruments, maintaining the accounts of the banks in the country, controlling bank licensing and promoting the development and augmentation of the country´s banking sector. Frequently it also responsible for foreign exchange policies and control.
